From July 1st to 4th, 2026, the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi hosted a major industrial event. The 14th Vietnam Hanoi International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition (HanoiPlas 2026), along with the Packaging and Printing Exhibition (HanoiPrintPack 2026) and the Intelligent Asia Hanoi Exhibition (Intelligent Asia Hanoi 2026), were held concurrently for the first time, creating a complete industrial ecosystem from raw materials and processing equipment to smart factories.
Bag Making Machines: The "Hidden Star" of the Exhibition
For bag making machine manufacturers, this exhibition was a precisely targeted professional platform. The official exhibit scope explicitly listed "Bag Making Machines" as a core exhibit category, alongside injection molding machines, extruders, and blown film machines. The exhibits covered the entire packaging machinery chain, from vacuum packaging machines and carton gluing machines to filling and sealing equipment. Bag making machines, as core equipment in flexible packaging production, were present throughout.
Vietnam Market: Strong Demand for Bag Making Machines
The Vietnamese plastics industry is currently experiencing rapid growth. According to Dinh Duc Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Plastics Association, Vietnam's plastics industry has an annual revenue of US$34.3 billion, exporting to more than 190 countries and regions worldwide. The industry comprises over 6,000 enterprises and employs 300,000 people.
The market demand for bag-making machines is particularly strong:
